GANADORES DE LA 70° DE LOS EMMY AWARDS

La entrega 70° de los Emmy Awards se emitieron en la NBC el lunes por la noche con los anfitriones Colin Jost y Michael Che, del equipo Saturday Night Live Weekend Update, para presentar los premios a los mejores talentos de TV en vivo desde el Microsoft Theater. La ceremonia de 2018 marca un cambio histórico para los Premios Emmy, moviendo la ceremonia del domingo al lunes por la noche en un intento por aumentar las calificaciones en declive.

Esta noche fue una noche maravillosa para, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Maisel. La serie de comedia de primer año barrió las categorías de comedia, ganando en grande en Mejor Comedia, Mejor Actriz y Mejor Actriz de reparto, mientras que la creadora Amy Sherman-Palladino ganó tanto para escritura como para dirección. No hay nada que detenga esta espectacularmente bien escrita  serie de Amazon, que también barrió los Globos de Oro a principios de este año.

En el lado dramático, Game of Thrones anotó las categorías Drama y Mejor Actor, mientras que el resto de los trofeos se dividieron entre The Americans y The Crown, dos espectáculos que tuvieron los respectivos finales de sus épocas. The Americans , que ganaron un premio de escritura y un triunfo como actor para Matthew Rhys, cerraron su carrera de seis temporadas este año, mientras que The Crown ganó la dirección y actuación de la protagonista Claire Foy, quien se va con el elenco original mientras el espectáculo salta en el tiempo .

Pero el ganador sorpresa más grande fue Netflix, cuya serie Seven Seconds ganó un premio con la actriz principal de Regina King en una serie limitada de triunfos, así como su serie western dirigida por mujeres Godless, que obtuvo dos premios por actuación.

NOMINADOS A LOS "EMMY 2015"

Es esa época del año otra vez; las frutas de verano están madurando, las playas están llenas de turistas felices, y un selecto grupo de fanaticos a la televisión están acurrucados dentro debatir los aciertos y errores de este año nominaciones a los premios Emmy. Las nominaciones de 2015 se anunciaron el jueves, con una o dos excepciones, la lista se compone de los mismos de siempre. A nivel personal, estoy contento de ver a Tatiana Maslany finalmente aterrizar una nominación por Better Call Saul conseguir un poco de amor, pero no parece haber grandes sorpresas de este año.

GANADORES "EMMY 2014"... BREAKING BAD DOMINA

Los ganadores de los Premios Emmy 2014 fueron anunciados esta noche. La ceremonia fue dominada efectivamente por Breaking Bad, ganando Mejor Drama para su última temporada.

En general esperaba que Matthew McConaughey continuaría su racha de premios con un Emmy para True Detective, pero Bryan Cranston triunfó una vez más con su cuarto premio al Mejor Actor. Anna Gunn y Aaron Paul ganaron por sus papeles secundarios y Breaking Bad también se llevó a casa el Mejor Guión de Serie Dramática.

Modern Family ganó como Mejor Comedia, uniéndose a Frasier como la única serie en ganar el premio en cinco ocasiones.

LISTA DE NOMINADOS A LOS PREMIOS "EMMY"...

Las nominaciones a la 66 entrega anual de Los Premios Emmy  fueron anunciados hoy y una vez más ha triunfado la televisión por cable. HBO es especialmente es feliz con Juego de Tronos y True Detective teniendo un gran número de nominaciones, al igual que AMERICAN Horror Story de FX y la temporada de debut de FARGO. House of Cards fue nominado para Netflix, por segundo año consecutivo como lo fue ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK.  Como lo demuestra el aumento de la calidad de la programación, las categorías de actuación se ven casi imposible juzgar, especialmente la categoría principal del drama que cuenta con Jon Hamm, Bryan Cranston, Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey, Jeff Daniels y Kevin Spacey.

También hubo desaires notables como series favoritas  HANNIBAL, THE AMERICANS, ORPHAN BLACK, MASTERS OF SEX, y Boardwalk Empire no lograron ser nominados a la Mejor Serie Dramática. Dean Norris no pudo recibir una nominación por su fascinante interpretación en la última temporada de Breaking Bad y Elizabeth Moss no fue nominada para la última temporada de Mad Men.
